Donald Lee Royer

Donald Lee Royer of Chandler, Arizona passed away November 1, 2024.  Donald was born March 24,1941 in Canton, Ohio, the second of 4 siblings to Ralph and Lillie Royer.

He had a caring heart and wanted to help those around him.  He was strong-willed and had a unique sense of humor that was always encouraging to those around him.  At an early age, after the death of his father, Donald helped to provide for the basic needs of his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Harold Johnson, sister-in-law Barb Royer and brother-in-law Russel Zickefoose.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years RuthAnn Royer, siblings:  Barbara Johnson, David Royer, and Allison Zickefoose and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 East Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024 on December 6, 2024, at 0930. A celebration of Life will be held at the New Covenant Community Church, 24211 South McQueen Road, Chandler, AZ 85249 on December 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
