We are deeply saddened that we will not enjoy Ian's friendship, quick wit, laughter and dimpled smile in this life. He has relief from the struggles of this world, and we have the promise that we will see him again.
As a child Ian was inseparable from his big brother, Kyle. Two straws in one can of root beer, inseparable. Ian had many happy times. He enjoyed playing soccer and flag football and participating in Scouts. He was a bright and talkative student, and he loved to get everyone laughing. Ian had a good group of friends that had lots of fun together, whether playing Fortnite on the computer or hanging out in person playing 007.
Special family memories include celebrating the 4th of July at the Heber House, lots of trips to the lake in our ski boat, and exploring a slot canyon together on our trip to Utah.
In school Ian showed talent for writing. He received the ASU Dean's Awrd when he graduated from Marcos de Niza High School in 2022. He was accepted to the ASU Business Technology program. His dream job was to work for the YouTube celebrity, Mr. Beast. He had and entrepreneurial mind and was always trying to convince his parents to maximize their income.
When our dog, Olly, joined the family in 2021, she changed our lives. She was a source of joy and comfort to Ian. For those who would like to donate to a cause that helps bring pets to other familires please consider donating to the Arizona Animal Welfare League in Ian's name.
When you are missing Ian, remember him by eating some of his favorite foods such as tortilla chips with nacho cheese, Mike and Ike candy, or a hamburger from the Habit or In-N-Out with a vanilla shake
