Jeffry Lynn Johnson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 22nd, 2024 in Gilbert, Arizona. He was a kind-hearted and adventurous soul who lived life to the fullest. Born on May 21st, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa, he was the son of Pat and Melba Johnson.
Jeff had a rewarding career as an Electrician and obtained his license in 2015. He took pride in his work and was known for his attention to detail. His dedication and expertise earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Jeff had a passion for motorcycles. Riding his Harley was one of the many ways he embraced freedom and thrived on exhilaration. Every weekend, he would gather with his friends for thrilling adventures on the open road. His love for motorcycles extended beyond riding; he also enjoyed making jewelry and Harley decor in his garage.
Nature was another aspect that brought Jeff immense joy. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, even though he claimed to have more patience than luck when it came to catching fish. He relished being surrounded by the serenity of nature while building his own fly fishing rods.
However, what truly set Jeff apart was his incredible sense of humor. Everyone who knew him would agree that he had an unparalleled wit and could effortlessly bring laughter into every situation. With him around, no gathering was ever dull or lacking in mirth. In fact, Jeff made it clear that he did not want a somber funeral but instead wanted a celebration filled with joyful stories and good company.
To honor Jeff's wishes and celebrate his remarkable life, a Celebration of Life Party will be held on Saturday, February 10th from 11 am to 4 pm at Jeff and Kathy's home located at 239 E. Palomino Ct in Gilbert, Arizona. It will be a time of remembrance and sharing cherished memories of a man who brought light and laughter to so many lives.

Chase is the proud father of Izayah while Douglas shares his life and love with his wife Kate (Ritter) Heaton and their daughter Rory. Lastly, Alexander and Lauren Heaton complete the family circle alongside their daughter Denver.
Beyond his family ties, Jeff was blessed with three brothers who brought him companionship throughout the years. Tim and his wife Marylou, Mike and his wife Ruth (Leach), and Mark and his wife Bonnie (Doan) were not only siblings but also lifelong friends.
Jeffry Lynn Johnson will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
