Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend

Reginald Kennedy, 72, of Chandler, AZ passed away on Thursday, February 8th, 2024.  He was born on June 14th, 1951, in Columbus Ohio, to the late Raymond and Myrtle Kennedy.

Reginald was a kind, generous, and humorous man, who enjoyed golfing, football, and projects around the house.  He was a devoted fan of The Ohio State football program, and rarely missed watching a game.  He served his community by devoting his career to being a proud journeyman lineman for over thirty-five years. He loved listening to classic rock and often you could find him on the greens of the golf course where he enjoyed spending time with many close friends.  As a young adult he had a love for motorcycles which was passed on to both his son and grandson.  As time passed the love of motorcycles subsided and he took up a new love of tinkering with his sand-rail.  Reggie was a talented man and over the years developed an extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical information which also helped many close friends on a regular basis.  He was a man loved by many and had a smile and laughter that was so magnanimous it would light up a room.   He was an avid member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed spending time with friends there.

Reggie is survived by his brothers:  Denny, Robin, and Rex Kennedy also his sister Kim Alfred.

A Celebration Of Life for Reginald D. Kennedy will be held at The Elks Lodge at 2320 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282 at 2:00pm Saturday, March 2, 2024.
